Man I was a heavy alcoholic for like 12 years. I don't take my shits for granted, every day I wake up regular and a work of art slides out my ass - i almost photographed it this morning. I'm seriously grateful for it.

I used to dabble with opioids until I quit in like 2020 and the chronic constipation only stopped last summer. Regular shits both in interval and texture are what life is truly about.
My brother's an alcoholic, doesn't eat well, smoking is what keeps him regular. He came over once cuz he needed my help selling some stuff. I eat kale pretty consistently and was making it that night. The next day unprompted he texts me "HOLY SHIT ITS NEVER BEEN SO SMOOTH!" Fuggin hilarious
This is honestly one of the unintended benefits of being vegetarian that you can't always say in polite company. Haven't had a bad bm in years (except for self inflicted circumstances).

How weird was that first proper shit when it started working properly down there, I forgot how a solid shit was supposed to feel, thought I was being attacked.
This is the face of having regular movements and suddenly missing one.
The rest of your day is ruined, wondering if you might die and never poop again, what you did wrong to anger the BM gods, did you eat a whole loaf of bread yesterday? No... WHY? Where did your poop go?
Then you shit double the next day and the relief washes over you like you've been born again, rising from the ashes.
