Of all the problems Americans face, beef shortages will probably be one of the last ones to happen. We'll probably have Mad Cow warning labels at McDonald's and people will still be lining up. Water, tomatoes, and chicken will disappear before beef.

Nah. If mad cow or bovine flu becomes a thing there will be mandatory mass culling and prices will skyrocket, screwing over both consumers and producers. It's the easiest way to solve the problem and only affects the poor. Food label warnings are unconstitutional because they affect the freedom of people to eat without thinking.

Mandatory mass culling? Sounds like government overreach. Why not let the free market decide whether the beef is safe to eat? Are you going to let some shills for big science take away your freedoms? Think of the economy!
