Hell yeah. We'll reach our Federation, one step at a time.
Let's just hope this doesn't roll right into the Bell Riots
Star Trek memes and shitposts
Come on'n get your jamaharon on! There are no real rules—just don't break the weather control network.

Oh yeah that's supposed to be 2024, isn't it? DS9 and Enterprise are bottom of my list when it comes to how familiar I am with them. A shitload of treknobabble filtered through and stuck for some reason but not much else.
Yep, September 2024
That's pretty soon...
We're already in a different timeline though because we haven't had the eugenics wars
I'm just tired of the waiting. Let's get it on already!
I thought the writer's strike had been resolved, but the actors were still being shafted. Have writers gone back to striking in solidarity?
If it's only SAG-AFTRA then I think it's just actors.
Yeah, the WGA strike is done, with 99% of its members approving the new contract.
Yeah I am stupid and put the wrong thing in because I was talking in a party with someone else and totally misunderstood what I was reading. Fix'd. Sorry bout that
Once nice Lemmy feature is that unlike certain other sites, it's possible to edit post titles if you want to.
Yeah and I am very happy about that. I remember when @teft@startrek.website pointed it out to me. Life saver. Both the feature and Teft
The downside is that you can't read the URL.
Also, every instance assigns its own unique number to every post and comment, so you can't easily move from one instance to another (unless someone from the target instance has commented, then you can use their federated link). We really should have the number defined by the host instance, then every other instance could be /post/number@host_instance
.
it is generally possible to find the post on another instance through the search, at least through the default web interface. there is certainly a lot of room for improvement though.
adam ruins everything did a video on it.
Nah, all the good writers already settled.
I think you're confused, this is about the Screen Actors Guild which is a completely separate union from the Writers Guild of America. Both guilds went on strike but only the WGA has agreed to a deal with the AMPTP so far.
