What would you use 16GB of RAM for?

Duh. Obviously to open 250 browser tabs.

Hehe, doesn't cut it... I've tried. It only keeps the last few tabs in memory πŸ˜† Even if you have 200 or 800 in total.

Really annoys me how Android is always closing my apps in the background like how even I switch back to the browser it has to reload the whole page. More RAM sounds good to me!

Yeah I get that. And RAM is currently cheap. But double what the top of the notch $1300 new iPhone has? Seems excessive to me. My phone also unloads tabs. But that seems more something the software likes to do, not some RAM limitation. My laptop has plenty tabs open plus 3 other programs and only 8GB of RAM available. I don't think that is the use-case.
