Compatible with PeerTube. Unfortunately there is no login support but you can search, watch and subscribe to videos in the same feed with youtube and whatever else.

I'll have to try this again for my little media center setup. If I can sync with desktop I'll be much happier to use it on mobile

Still struggling to ween myself off youtube recommendations though 😅 thats the biggest thing missing for me, it's soooo much harder to discover stuff or find things I want to watch with grayjay or newpipe, and if I just jam a million things in my subscriptions I'll just end up with lots of things I'm not interested in watching at any given point in time

I should probably add more stuff and just add them to more subscription groups which can kinda help with that. If anyone has recommendations I'd welcome them :)

I use FreeTube on desktop (it's on f-droid too!) because you can create subscriptions under local profiles (e.g. some of mine are: music, diy, news, etc.) and it allows to export or import subscriptions so you could sync devices every once in a while. Oh and a whole export holds all your profiles.

May not be perfect but I like switching front pages with these profiles...

Glad to see it as a Flatpak. Looks like it's an ed version though. Shows as v5 for me, but direct download from their website is v7.
