The Supreme Court let Trump end protections for 500,000 migrants, putting nearly 1 million at risk of deportation.

As I understand the article, this doesn't (yet) mean that he can deport all of them.

It seems to say that a protection / program that was in place for migrants from some countries to move to the US has been revoked, leaving people who came under that program and haven't completed their paperwork in a precarious position.

Knowing Trump though, I'm sure he'll make every possible effort to deport them. I'm just not sure what excuse he'll use.
