Homophobic men think it's gay, and TERF women think it's cheating/a ruse to assault women.

Neither even seems to care about transmasc dudes; just transfem girls.

What is TERF is this some type of grass reference I am not getting?

Trans-Exclusionary "Radical Feminists". Transphobes who misuse the language of feminism to exclude trans women.

I think trans people are a popular target because they specifically threaten the patriarchy. That trans people exist muddies the line clearly drawn line that fascists have drawn between men and women that put men on top as powerful and women as inferior and subservient. If a trans person can cross that line, then maybe men and women really aren't that different, and that's an unacceptable reality for them.

Behold this meme I made to mock my pal

He claimed that in the downfall of any society it was recorded that trans people became more prevalent. Obviously that’s bs but after some prodding at why he thought that could be true, he admitted he is only male due to moral reasons.

I think it's really just as simple as they are different and people just don't like things that are different. Compounding the fact is a lot of people don't have any first hand experience interacting with a trans person and so believe what theyre told through their favorite media source.

I want to know this too. Also why I was raised to believe that British Asians would come up the hill and storm our white middle class village, even though this somehow still hasn’t happened over thirty years on.
