As someone who grew up in the south - accurate.

But it's missing a billboard for Jesus, followed by another billboard for strippers.

Don't forget the lifted pick-up trucks covered in LEDs

As someone who grew up in north - those look like city light glowing through the clouds instead of northern lights.

Wait, Sonic is mainly Southern?

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 8 points 1 week ago (2 children)

More like in The South it counts for a "fine dining experience"😺

Where else can you go to get your kids icecream while yousit and smoke meth and or fent. And no waffle house doesn't count, they make you go to the bathroom to do drugs.

Instructions unclear: sat and smoked meth, but still have kids. Thanks Obama!

Ohhhhhh, makes sense. I live in the South, but not really, so my experience is limited. The food is meh, but the slushies are decent. Thanks!

Same experience in Northern Sonics tbh

Sonic is the south is damn good, but anywhere else the place blows ass. Southern food is amazing if you get into the right places and yes the fast food options are superior in the south.

Northern US food won't make you southern fat. I will tell you that. Source: have lived in the south and northern US

I can’t comment on the northeast, but I can say I was one of the more fit guys around town when I lived in the south simply because I did the bare minimum of exercise. The food is incredible and the weather encourages you to sit inside and hide from the heat.

Then I moved to Denver, where I am now the fat guy in the neighborhood. I quickly lost 20 lbs doing nothing besides not living near southern food and going to the mountains on the weekends.

Same here, but northeast. The south just packs on the pounds, but it's too damn good.

The first Sonic was in Oklahoma. The company was still headquartered there until being bought out by a Georgia based company just a couple years ago.

Pretending the southern hemisphere doesn't exist is kind of rude. Could be xenophobia.

The post is racist against New Zealanders and Argentinians.
