Waze, it's a navigation app owned by Google
So the source page just doesn't exist. But https://mapsinterlude.wordpress.com/ does. When you visit it, this post is easily found, but do they list any of their sources? No. I checked a few sites that list top apps by country and just checked Denmark, because that's where I'm from and temu was #8.
I took it from instagram, it's probably not correct. If you confirm that this information is incorrect, I can delete the post so as not to spread misinformation.
No, no it's fine, I wasn't trying to dismiss the posting of this, it's just that I'm sad I couldn't find any sources. I found a bit odd that Temu was #1 where I live, and although it's up there, I'm still curious how they got their data.
This can't be correct. No way people use Signal more than Whatsapp in NL. And Temu, this app Google Play tries to spam you with? Why?

I live in San Francisco, I'm used to things being expensive. The floor thing is crazy though.

can it though, or just claims to be able to? as I know no apps without root privileges cqn do such things. unless it just searches things in the gallery recycle bin, in which case it is again useless because the gallery app can be used for that

Loving Bulgaria. Everybody's doing social networks, meanwhile they're "ooh, a puzzle game!"
Temu is more like a capitalism network than a social network, but yeah Chad Bulgaria playing tetris instead of giving into consumerism.
You know, I mostly hear about how Soviet-looking Bulgaria still is from my family over that way. Everyone playing Tetris adds to that.

Out of everything the most depressing is Klarna. It's a buy now pay later microloans that should just be forbidden.
I don't know if it was the case in other countries but in Belgium a very popular app used to store loyalty cards was bought by Klarna. It was not really clear that you could continue to use the old app for a while and not switch to Klarna. So I know a lot of people that just installed the app just to be able to have access to their cards.
We get a lot of advertising for it here in Belgium and tons of webshops support it, sadly. What a trash company.
Not just support it but sometimes it's the only option, so you also have to support their business even if you just paying upfront. (and hand over your personal data)
People really use temu? I thought it was all crap.

This is most downloaded not most used, so I'd reckon a lot of people heard about it, downloaded it, used it, realised it was all crap, then deleted it.
People would rather download the app to figure that out than just visit the website? That's still depressing.
But probably temu was like get 50% off your first order via the app or something like that?
