This was my go-to fantasy for most of my adolescence. I wouldn't say I got better but I at least got different.
I didn't want to lose my loved ones, but sometimes it seemed like an acceptable trade. Now they're all dead but everyone else is still here, worst timeline.
Go to the power station to see what is going on.
Make a nice cup of coffee, sit my ass down in my comfy chair in front of my computer and use Linux all day. I use Arch BTW

In future days, I collect the neighborhood dogs.
Boot up the meshtastic and see if I can find any nodes so I can figure out what is going on.
Hop on the ham radio and tune into the frequencies people use for disaster preparedness and hope someone knows something.

Not off the top of my head but I do have some of the common ones programmed into my radios and others backed up in a firmware file hosted locally.
Good plan, I have a wind up radio and phone charger. I've got the stations saved. Plus lets be honest if the shit really hit the fan we'd have time to search manually

Id probably be a little crazy looking for my girlfriend and her daughter if they are gone.
