That sounds like you have a DHCP server enabled on the mAP - if you bridge two networks with DHCP servers, you will get semi-random behavior. Disable it and it should work fine.

I thought I had tried that, but maybe I was mistaken on the wording of the option. I figured switching to bridge mode would disable the dhcp server as well.
I guess it's been a while since I got my CCNP, and my career involves no network hardware config, so I probably need a refresher.
