Did Dreams ship with a campaign/story-mode like LBP?

If you count tutorial for tools to make your dreams as campaign then yes. But otherwise no, just mm dreams and some community dreams made from early access.

That's kinda what I figured. I'm sure the story mode is what got most people into the LBP series
