Pretty great tracker, library is huge though the BON system could be improved a bit. Regular Freeleeches are also great.
It's one of the easiest bon systems tho
Ty, missed it last time.
TY for the post, been keeping a eye out for open reg so I don't need to accept invite (personal pref to prefer to wait and recruit/open reg in) I'll get FNP added to my cross-seed setup so I can start getting my brr on
Great, Thank you, get the cross seed on asap! 😅💚
I was getting a captcha error, but there was no captcha. Sad, I’d love to be part of this tracker.
I experienced this off and on yesterday. The issue seems to have been resolved. Good luck.
Hey thanks! I probably wouldn't have gone and checked again without your comment, was having all kinds of trouble. Looks good now.
Edit: Hmm, spoke too soon, still seeing that sometimes. But at least now subsequent attempts work, I'm not getting credentials rejection in addition to that (although...I think that part may have been my fault, looking back...embarrassing lol).
Lots of leechers and decent amount of seeders. Content is decent for a general tracker. It's a mix of scene and p2p releases. Moderation of uploads was an issue initially but doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. You could do more much worse and this is a great spot for anyone looking to enter into the private tracker world.
Biggest negative is that it is pay to leech. I get that they need to pay the server bills but they go real hard asking for donations. Also, the sys op had it out on Reddit a few months (maybe a year) back. Not sure what came of it or why, but it definitely caused a stir.
I don't think their core values necessarily align with mine when it comes to piracy. Pay to leech is only found on low-mid tier trackers for a reason. It brings bad user and keeps away the advanced users.
pay to leech
Just chiming in w/ my own experience: In the six weeks since I joined through open registration, there have been at least two periods of global freeleech. Even outside of those times, almost everything I've searched for has had multiple versions to choose from, and more often than not, at least one of those versions is permanent freeleech.
There are also multiple bonus point giveaways daily. While there are various donation tiers for those who cannot or will not maintain their ratio through seeding or bonus point buys, it's definitely not pay to leech—I started from scratch a month ago and I'm doing fine.
I've been on there roughly a year and a half and my experience matches yours. I haven't paid a cent, yet I've gotten to one of the highest user ranks. I don't have a seed box or any automation tools. Between grabbing stuff during the several free leech periods throughout the year and just keeping torrents available, I'm doing really well there. I don't know what that other guy is talking about with his pay to leech shenanigans, unless he's just mad that they ask for donations like every other tracker I've seen.
Thank you for the honest, unbiased post.
How exactly is it “pay to leech” when everything’s free to download? No one is forced to pay anything, and the site already runs on a relaxed ratio system compared to most private trackers. If that’s still not enough, what exactly are you expecting?
Bringing up Reddit drama from a year ago feels more like an attempt to stir things up than provide real feedback. If the actual user experience is decent, maybe just say that instead of throwing in vague shots.
Pay to leech refers to paying to download without contributing anything. It's a pretty common phrase in the piracy and specifically BitTorrent scene. It's not ONLY pay to leech, but pay to leech is an option.
You will notice that the higher tiered trackers do not give this option out for donations.
Listen you have to pay the bills. I get it. I don't think your site is terrible by any means, but their are some things I don't agree with. It's your site. You do whatever you want with it. It's obviously successful.
I'm just offering my opinion. I've been around the block and have been an admin of a tracker before. I've been using private trackers since before Oink was around. I've seen my fair share of terrible sites and amazing sites. You run a good entry level tracker but don't assume everyone is attacking your. It's just 0s and 1s. Much love.
You joined a new tracker and don't like that it doesn't have the attributes of a 20 yr old one. Makes a lot of sense.
Well then private trackers are not for you
I've been using private trackers for 20 years. I just know what I like.
I meant that about the last paragraph. You can't be on private trackers for 20 years and still can't see every one of em are in for a profit.
These fuckers once raised the ratio limit from like 0.7 to 0.8 and that completely blocked me from regaining my ratio with additional freelech stuff because i had a ratio of 0.75
That change was made over a year ago. If you had reached out with a support ticket or asked for help at the time, it's very likely someone would’ve assisted you. It just seems a bit odd to bring it up now, so long after the fact.
