Oh. As a badminton player I felt attacked there for a second. Carry on!

My analysis for this and the right arm involves a long period of right handed masturbation while leaning to the right in a seated or semi crouched position. Perhaps peeking around a a tree trunk or through a window.

To be fair having abs is not that much about abs muscle size but about low fat percentage.

I've heard most body builders don't really do much for abs. If you have low body fat and do whole body exercises like squats, deadlifts, or even stuff like bench press they should pretty much take care of themselves.

We do train abs as well but people fail to realize it’s overall body fat in a lot of cases that will make or break abs. Doing tons of crunches are not what’s going to give you abs. Most will discourage beginners from focusing on them. Same with arms. Focus on a good base with core lifts and get diet in check.

Nope they won't! Not as far as being in actual shape. Sure, many activities don't need great abs, but every time I slack off and then give them a normal workout, they complain a lot after, which indicates they're tiring a lot compared to other muscles.

Hmm really? I can't say I've ever had sore abs after a non-ab-specific workout

[–] MotoAsh@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago

Depends on the workout. If they don't target the abs in some way, they don't generally get sore. Though compared to a good workout, doing a set of situps shouldn't make them sore, but it sure does if I've been slacking off on abs!

Happy abs day

Funny. My abs are the muscles that get tired the last. Though I do have lower back issues and compensate a lot with my abs so they're the muscles I use (and trained) the most (which, tbh, doesn't mean shit).

Abs are made in the kitchen.
