I started with Jerboa, but am now using liftoff. Both are . . . OK. I'm not going to bother with another one until Boost gets released.

lemmy.world in a browser (mobile version ofc) with a shortcut. I prefer it over any app at the moment because of the good UI and no missing functionality.

I'm on Jerboa now, but the lemmy mobile website is pretty good. I prefer the mobile website to some of the other apps I've tried

Thunder and voyager (it stutters sometimes because it's web based)

Thunder continues to top itself with big updates every week, and now it's officially on the Play Store! If you don't mind downloading apps from GitHub, the semi-nightly pre-releases are quite stable. Upcoming release already has a bunch more fixes and features, so keep an eye on it even if you bounced off initially!

Liftoff.

I'm getting accustomed to it already. If Boost takes much longer, it'll be harder to justify switching even to check it out.

Same here, Liftoff is really good! Boost will have to be at least as good for me to switch now ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've tried Liftoff, Connect, and Thunder so far. Thunder is by far the more stable one, and it's pretty convenient too

Summit.

Has basic functionality like marking posts as read after scrolling past them, has a "hide read" option on the FAB button and has a History tab so all hidden posts that you opened will show there. Also, it opens links on custom browser tabs.

I haven't found another app that does all 4. If someone knows please let me know.

Jerboa since it just works and the Dracula userstyle for the web.

[-] K3can@lemmy.radio 2 points 1 year ago

Jerboa for now.

Definitely switching to Boost ASAP, though.

[-] hogart@feddit.nu 2 points 1 year ago

Sync, for free. It's very good but a lot of the features I want are locked behind a big purchase that I just won't make.

[-] RaulitoElLobito@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Thunder and connect

[-] amenotef@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Like 4 different apps but mainly Voyager power app.

[-] zerosignal@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I tried jerboa but had too many issues, so I've been using the mobile website while I wait for Boost.

[-] starlinguk@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I'm on Kbin so I use the web app.

I really like Thunder. The slide actions are awesome - you upvote posts pushing them to the right, reply pushing to the left etc. it's very ergonomic :)

[-] Socialphilosopher@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

Summit is best now

[-] Dreamer_joy@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

I have been using Connect for Lemmy and it is getting better with each update.
I have registered for Boost for Lemmy but I am skeptial whether I will leave Connect for Boost.

[-] amenotef@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I like the small cards for post view, but I don't like that when you enter inside a post the post still remains as small card.

[-] KRed@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Jerboa then Connect

[-] Pyrrhichios@feddit.uk 1 points 1 year ago

Voyager (formerly Wefwef). I'm still super excited to get Boost back in my life, but I'm so so impressed with just how functional and great feeling the Voyager team have been able to make a PWA.

[-] shapis@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Gonna try sync eventually. But I'm very very happy with liftoff ATM. It's honestly perfect other than the scrolling being a bit janky.

I'm sending this comment from "Infinity for Lemmy" which is still alpha. Downloaded it here:

https://codeberg.org/Bazsalanszky/Infinity-For-Lemmy/releases

Edit: But I had to edit it from the desktop because, as I said the app is alpha but the dev is working actively on it to add more features. The dev is not the original from "Infinity for Reddit". But since it is open source a new dev picked up the development and started adapting it for Lemmy. 1 day ago it was not possible to add comments, now we can.
