The Voyager app has a built in "migrate subreddits" button. It's not great but it works.
I primarily use lemmyverse.net with related terms till I find something. Otherwise I might create it myself till I can hand it off to someone.

Voyager client have a feature that provide you recommendation for communities similar to subs you follow on reddit
Do a search in All for the keywords for the community name. Chances are you are either not going to find some of them or find multiple ones on several Lemmy instances. If you find several, subscribe to all and see which one is the most active, if you find none, consider starting one yourself.
