Shit just slaps and a lot of clever bars.
not strong enough by boygenius
I keep getting this new version of Oasis' Live Forever stuck in my head after hearing it on Rick and Morty. It's getting to the point of "please stop doing this to me brain".

I can't get that "Illegals in my yard" song out of my head after hearing it earlier.
Great thread idea.
Joey Bada$$ - Paper Trail$
Great thread idea.
thanks i mostly listen to popular stuff. thought folks here would have some rare gems!
"You and Me" by Penny and the Quarters. Heard it in a restaurant a couple weeks ago and it's been in heavy rotation ever since.
Flowerboy by 000
Being on Lemmy makes such a difference. Had this been reddit, this thread would have barely gotten 5 replies
For the past couple weeks it's been Flower Moon by Dooms Children

I am sorry if it seems a bit weird, but Johann Strauss II - Egyptian March.
Although it's not the only one I am currently obsessed with, just the most recently added.
Currently it's a mix of: (with link to all streaming platforms)
Thrash Unreal - Against Me! Prisoners of Today - Billy Talent
In that vein, Devil in a Midnight Mass by Billy Talent is an easy go to when trying to "capture" their sound. Such a great band I finally got to see live for the first time this year.
This week, it's been A Farewell to Arms by Machine Head. The song just builds into something incredible.
Actually, the whole new album from Peter Gabriel: https://open.spotify.com/album/1mhuLKVEwZH4aTJXCLuhec?si=AEpuSlYnTXy93oM30tig2w

Overthinking Rain- Pierce Fulton
Nothin' - Colter Wall
DYNAZTY - Heartless Madness
Brothers of Metal - Kaunaz Dagaz
Fair warning... they will get stuck in your head
Barnacled Warship by Johnny Flynn
Bye Bye Bad Man by The Stone Roses.
The guitar on this song is deceptively complex and difficult. And itβs soooo good. John Squire is 100% underrated.
You won't understand any of it because it's all in Finnish, but just listen to it and you'll put it on repeat for the next 7 months.
I really need to stop being a Eurovision fan.
Only Human - Memphis May Fire (feat. AJ Channer)

(Note, the linked music video has a seizure warning at the start of it)
Ob la di, ob la da - The Beatles.
Shop: A Pop Opera by Jack Stauber - particular the coffee song.
Fly Away by Gloryhammer.
Your Song - Elton John (Cameron Bedell cover)
Mainly because I'm gonna play it at a wedding while a friend walks down the aisle they requested me to do. So, it's on repeat to learn the chord progression, and the little runs he does vocally. By the end of this I will loath the song.
