Cant think, off the top of my head, of a worst way to watch a TV show episode

I do believe that a part of the decision is the buzz it creates. I’d never heard of Silo until every tech website reported that the first episode was posted on Twitter.

Folks with limited means (like me) might be grateful for low-res, free, and delayed.

If the freebie is unacceptable on that platform it can be extracted and played back on whatever one wants: https://pastebin.com/ivpqdUmA

They make episode one of all their shows available for free in the app, if you're looking for a more ideal way to watch it.

Silo's pretty interesting, but don't know if I can wait with all the writer's strike. Think i'll be reading the original novel instead.

Isn't Twitter video something like standard definition with tonnes of compression?

Yes, but it ruins the quality.
