Eu comprei esse hardware aqui pra navegar sem ser reconhecido no xvidros, engrosso a voz e falo "menas" e "pobrema", ninguém saberá que sou eu.

With HTTPS, they can only see the domain and amount of data tho, not the exact URL and content.

And you can do one better with DoH, DNS over HTTPS.

No they'll still see the domains you visit until encrypted client hello becomes a thing.

I don't think they see the domains if you're on a VPN though.

That's one thing I don't really get about the whole "vpns don't make your browsing private" thing, like ofc you can still be tracked via fingerprinting/cookies but I thought it was obvious that it was mostly about hiding what sites you're visiting from the ISP?

But you give a third party this info. So tomato, tomato.

Someone on the edge node will know your info: your isp or your VPN provider

[–] trashgirlfriend@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

yeah, I guess you I have an easier time trusting a vpn provider than an ISP

I know that there have been scandals with vpns logging user data even when they say they don't but... you don't really have a choice if you want to try being anonymous

Então esse que é o famoso anonymous
