I couldn't possibly pick one! Depends on my mood, on who I am that day π

Same. I can't pick a genre or artist, much one one particular song. I have songs that are meaningful to me, songs I rock out to, songs I relax to, songs I drive to... I could never pick just one, or even just 20. Lol.
Mirror Mirror- Blind Guardian
One - Metallica
I can't have one: there are many, across eras and genres. The first ones coming to mind are Back In The USSR (Beatles), , Kelly watch the stars (Air), The sound of violence (SebastiAn)
Air is seriously underrated, I've always loved "Universal Traveler".
Probably βSurrenderβ by Billy Talent.
Billy Talent is massively underrated.
Just... Just one?
"100,000 Fireflies" by The Magnetic Fields
It kinda depends on my mood and what I've been listening to most at a given time, but I'd say the most enduring song would be:
- "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. I have been listening to the Tom Rhodes cover recently and have really like it as well, but I don't think it quite tops the original.
- "The Man Who Sold the World". I'm not sure which I like better, the original by David Bowie or the cover by Midge Ure.
For me this isn't a static thing and changes over time. Right now I'd say it's probably Great Pumpkin Waltz by Vince Guaraldi Trio. Vince is definitely my favorite musician. I listen to his stuff so much.
Gotta be Moonlight Sonata...
Maybe the Live 101 Proof version of Panera's "War Nerve"
Or Freebird, maybe?
Stubborn Love or Angela, by the Lumineers?
Fuck.. Depends on the day, but I'll always go back to Moonlight..
I'm very similar! Mine is Bach's Badinerie.
Maybe South of Heaven by Slayer.
Other days Self Aware by Qveen Herby.
But I'll always go back to Badinerie..
Wide range, there. I love it!
Maybe the Live 101 Proof version of Paneraβs βWar Nerveβ
Is that off their album Vulgar Display of Panini?
Hahaaaa!! Fuck, I didn't catch that shit!! Too fuckin funny to edit.. Touche, s0x..
I've never typed Panera... Yet my dictionary has that shit over Pantera... This world has gone to shit... Fuck em all.
Lol cheers. Funny enough another person in the thread spelled it "Pantara." Not as funny though.
Become by Beach House
Cake's version of "I Will Survive"
Miranda That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore - The Mars Volta
I don't have one. There's like a thousand songs that I consider to be my favorite, and I absolutely cannot name them all off the top of my head.
Another You (Another Way) by Against the Current
Depending on how you feel about foreign music, Til the End by ReoNa is another top song
Hey I know them, they're both great!
I'm unsure between peeping tom by jame berry and genesis by justice. They are polar opposites in terms of genre; which one i prefer really depends on my mood
ATM - anything Pantara
Pantara or Pantera?
currently, either 'Cut-Throat (instrumental)', or 'Spread Eagle Cross The Block' both by Death Grips
actually its 'Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You' by the The Five Satins, ive been going through a doo wop phase :)
This week itβs Appetite by Prefab Sprout
Love that track, back in the 80s I played the Steve McQueen album daily.
Steve McQueen was the only album of theirs that I owned until a few months ago. Bought Swoon, Jordan: The Comeback, and Protest Songs. Theyβre ok as bland 1980s pop, but Steve McQueen is still their best album and the only one that stands out to me.

That's easy! Mr Kitty - After Dark
'The Chosen' by Yellowjackets
I'm really enjoying WHALE by Yellow Ostrich right now.
Alts:
Dirty Dishes - Deer Tick
Washing Machine Heart - Mitski
Trying - Bully
Tone's Grave (a.k.a. Bodenstown Churchyard)
It changes a lot, but right now it's The Stormchaser by Caligula's Horse
Your comment reminds me of https://youtu.be/_UBqWuBn6_Y&t=0 by the Band HΓ€stpojken which translates to horse boy
"The Jetsons" Joe Martin
An impossible question for me but a few are "With Cat-Like Tread, Upon Our Prey We Steal", "Off Wiv Ya Heads", and "Around the World".
The Lost Patrol - Alright
For a long time it's been Kiseki no Umi. Composed by Yoko Kanno, Maaya Sakamoto on vocals.
'Alea' by Disillusion is probably pretty close to the top.
'It's Only Smiles' by Periphery is probably number 2.
Lately it's Batter Up, by Brand New.

This one is great too. Goodnight California, by Kathleen Edwards:
