Why some communities appear empty when i'm viewing it in my instance? (feddit.it)

I am subscribed to some communities outside of my instance that appear complitely empty when i'm viewing it in my instance but when i go to the istance where the comminity is in they appear full of posts, comments and interation, what is going on?

Your instance will get content only after you subscribe and won’t pull old content.

You should start seeing content in a couple of days after you subscribe.
