Do you know if its from a movie shoot or is he just trolling?

Knowing him, he's probably just doing funny shit. He earned my respect years ago, and I was absolutely ready to write him off as never being more than Harry Potter.

He stars in some hilariously unhinged stuff.

Looks like it's from Trainwreck (2015). Imdb credits him as a dog walker and there's a picture of him with a similar amount of dogs.

Yup, Swiss Army Man was pretty unhinged in the best way possible LOL. The fact that Radcliffe was in it, playing a flatulent dead guy no less, made me realize he's game to play just about any role that gets him out of the Harry Potter typecast.

I went on a date years ago, things went well, we ended up at her place. She asks if I want to go to her room to watch a film on her laptop.

She puts on Swiss Army Man and while initially she and I were just doing it as an excuse to get in bed and mess around, we found the whole film so bizarre that we forgot about sex and just enjoyed the zombie radcliffe fart jokes.

That woman is now my wi—nah not really lol. She got deported a couple of months later. But I remember that film/night fondly. I should add it to my Plex server.

I am still not sure why most countries don't have relatively open borders. Europe would benefit from Americans, America would benefit from everyone else, grass is always greener and all.

You can see Americans wanting to move to places many people would think kind of crazy, like Latvia or China... why not just let them?

Idk, maybe I am too optimistic, but I believe global freedom of movement (or as close as we can come to that) is the only opportunity towards world peace.

[–] Noodle07@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

The problem is the amount of people coming, there's a lot of people willing to move and it takes a lot of ressources to accommodate for them

[–] Zekas@lemmy.world 2 points 7 months ago

Naive, more like. Migration to/from somewhere tends to always come with mistrust or disdain for that origin wherever they arrive (my grandfather complains about Mediterraneans, which is the most unique racism I've encountered yet). Until humanity figures out how to stop reacting this way, freedom of movement will always be a source of tension.

Guns Akimbo was awesome and stupid and I loved it

I've seen clips of him in Miracle Workers too

He's fantastic in Miracle Workers. Definitely recommended.

was awesome and stupid

And realistic. At the end >!as he finishes single, because his gf has ptsd after seeing him slaughter a dude, that's realistic!<

[–] MrFappy@lemmy.world 14 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Him as Weird Al was spectacular.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 7 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Oh, when he created that amazing, completely original song that Michael Jackson stole?

[–] MrFappy@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I’m fairly certain that Michael Jackson paid him the royalties after a lengthy and immensely bloody legal battle

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 2 points 7 months ago

It's a good thing he was already accustomed to bloody battles from his dealings with Pablo Escobar.

[–] modifier@lemmy.ca 4 points 7 months ago

I knew he was going to make the transition to adulthood just fine when I saw his guest spot on Extras, and he has definitely blazed his own trail. I like his choices, even when they don't fully land.

[–] johannesvanderwhales@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

It's from the movie Trainwreck.

Well I feel wooshed

[–] Toribor@corndog.social 13 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Is there anyone on the planet who has fewer fucks to give than Daniel Radcliffe?

[–] johannesvanderwhales@lemmy.world 8 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Well, this is from filming a movie. Although I'm sure that's still true.

[–] state_electrician@discuss.tchncs.de 17 points 7 months ago (1 children)

lol, right. Next thing you're trying to tell us this is also from a movie

[–] Crashumbc@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

No that's just a Tuesday
