why is no one talking about it?

Because it's not fucking real.

You've posted the exact same post, same picture and title, on another instance. Smells like bot to me.

How does that make him a bot? lmao

[–] renzev@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

"bot" doesn't necessarily mean a literal computer program, people can be bots too. Same idea behind using "NPC" as an insult

Okay I just looked and this might be fake...There's ways to disable the "smart"screen filter with the group policy editor and also regedit. If you don't have windows pro, get "policy plus", it's a project on github. It's a substitute for any system that doesn't have gpedit(dot)msc

Again...This picture is probably fake, but there's a chance that it could become real.

Time to switch to a true operating system.

So how do you get around it? If the only answer is keep running my windows 7 machine or install Linux, I'm going to be disappointed

[–] Solumbran@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If you think that linux is a disappointment compared to using windows, I think you're too far gone.

[–] fapforce5@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Comments like this are why people don't try Linux.

[–] Solumbran@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

No, people don't try because they're intellectually lazy and change takes effort. But there is nothing good left with new versions of windows so there is no excuse anymore.

I thought this screenshot was a known fake

[–] ipha@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah it's fake and who watches xvid encodes anyway?

[–] war@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Gatekeeping video codecs, that's some next-level neckbeardery right there.
