Terrible Estate Agent Photos
Terrible photos listed by estate agents/realtors that are so bad they’re funny.
Posting guidelines.
Posts in this community must be of property (inside or out) listed for sale which contains a terrible element. “Terrible” can refer to:
-
the photo itself (finger over the lens, too far away, people in the shot, bad Photoshop, etc.)
-
the property (weird layout, questionable plumbing, unsound structure, etc.)
-
the interior (carpeted bathrooms, awful taste interiors, weird mannequins/taxidermies/art, inflatable pools indoors, etc.)
-
the actual listing itself including unusual descriptions and unrealistic pricing. However, this isn’t a community to discuss the housing market in general. This is a comedic community - let’s keep it light.
-
Photos can be sourced from anywhere and be any age, but please check they haven’t already been posted.
-
Censor any names/contact details of private individuals.
-
Mark the post NSFW if it includes nudity or sensitive content
Rules.
This community follows the rules of the feddit.uk instance and the lemmy.org code of conduct. I’ve summarised them here:
- Be civil, remember the human.
- No insulting or harassing other members. That includes name-calling.
- Respect differences of opinion. Civil discussion/debate is fine, arguing is not. Criticise ideas, not people.
- Keep unrequested/unstructured critique to a minimum.
- Remember we have all chosen to be here voluntarily. Respect the spent time and effort people have spent creating posts in order to share something they find amusing with you.
- Swearing in general is fine, swearing to insult another commenter isn’t.
- No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia or any other type of bigotry.
- No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
We've got these three different designs of tiles which would you like?
Yes
OMG. They want 2.5M$ for that place. Just imagine the amount of work you would need to make this place habitable for normal people again, and the price would probably double.
I can't decide if being on acid in that bathroom would be amazing or terrifying
Jesus. The outside I was like okay that's fine, lots of trees, I like this.
And inside, oh boy I'd rather run through the building in outlast than live in that house. Wtf is going on with the door? Did someone draw a scene in dirt like they do on white vans? What's with the tiles? Did they go into a closing down sale and just buy a few boxes of each tile they could then throw them at the wall like the Grinch sorting mail?
The walls. Moving on. I just can't.
The stained glass window was pretty, till I noticed the middle design looked like tiddys.
I'm done with this house. Kill it with fire.
Holy shit $2.5mil for this!! Also did they put wallpaper on the kitchen ceiling?! This straight up looks like something from Psycho.
I’ve got to hand it to you @kittybeer you’ve got a great eye for the terrible!
Thanx! I've apparently discovered a new hobby.
Yes
That is a plaster wall treatment often used to hide imperfections. In this case waaaaayyyy over-used, which makes me wonder what shape the structure is in.
I really like the stained glass windows but the rest of it is pretty bad, esp at $2.5 mil.
Only in Texas ...
which makes me wonder what shape the structure is in.
There's a big diagonal crack running from corner of The Sinister Door that suggests there may be more hidden problems.
I missed that one. Was more focused on the walls under the stairs. Ugh.
The walls under the stairs - sounds like a horror movie.
And we see it truly is. 🤣
"Artesian touches of the era ..."
Well well well.
"show us on the doll where the artesian touched you"
The titty stained glass windows are my personal favourites.
Did they popcorn the fucking walls in that bedroom?!
They are asking $2.5M for this? Holy shit.
Kitchen walls look like a dirty protest.
Why not both?
It looks like they put the shittiest linoleum flooring imaginable on the walls lol
It was moldy then pressure washed and then molded over
