Do you really? That's pretty understanding and nice.
You can also just add that time to the timer, but psychology is a bitch, so this seem like it is better.

Timer doesn’t start until the in-game clock shows in the top right.
Animal Crossing NH load times are no joke, especially if playing offline. It can be like 3 minutes before the game actually starts.
