Dragging myself through Dune 7 and 8 by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson was one of the most miserable reading experiences of my life...so I think I'll pass on a show based on one of their spin offs.

I am currently reading book 7 and am enjoying it enough. What would be your non-spoiler argument for not bothering to finish it and read book 8?
This just looks like reskinned Game of Thrones.
I'm sure Frank Herbert was really inspired by the series.
Brian Herbert wrote the basis for this prequel. It was published in 2012.
