If China wants to be taken seriously on the world stage, they need to start participating in these kinds of missions. Real world powers do things that benefit the world, not just themselves.
I seriously can't tell if this is sarcasm.
Plenty of 3rd world nations have been cozying up to China exactly because they don't do these things.
Pretty much everything foreign the USA and Soviet Union did was to protect their own interests, not benefit the world.
