Yeah definitely a red, went right through his planted foot. I feel like he had time to go behind his foot and still get the ball, but I'm just sitting on the couch...

In retrospect, VVD's sending off really galvanized the team.

The opening 20+ minutes, shapeless midfield, TAA errors, misplaced balls and runs, was a sorry sight of a 'game plan'.

Having the captain, the reliable, the rock of our defence sent off (rightly so), really pushed the mental state of the team to make or break. Knowing how lethal NUFC can get, they held off to HT, and came on in the second half with a belief of not making a mockery of the club.

The tactical changes were made, and on the day we needed him to put 1 in the net, Nunez put it in twice, TWICE!
