What I really want is to know what the "real" price is. Not the 12 month promo price. What's it gonna cost me when the price goes up? That should be required to be alongside the promo price.

I don't understand everything in this article, but this sounds like great news! Go Janet! 🤘

I don't see a way to change subscriptions either. I can only cancel and resubscribe. I assume after a few updates there'll be a way to switch. If there's a one time payment, I'll gladly choose that.

Sync has made my experience better and I myself have been more active. Wouldn't be surprised if having a better interface causes more interaction. I think it's great! Feels like I'm back on Reddit again!

One time payments would be great, but the devs make a lot more from subscriptions. You don't see services like Netflix or Hulu offering one time payments options. As a consumer, I love it, but the devs might not be able to sustain the app from that model. I'd be interested if you have any other ideas though.

Has anyone found any Lemmy apps on Android that can notify you when you have updates or comments on posts/comments? I haven't found any that have a notifications setting.

I've noticed a lot of posts that have the word "rule" added to it even when it doesn't seem to make sense. Sometimes I've even seen titles with only the word "rule". Anyone know what it's about?
