As long as the Blazers aren't bullied into taking a bad deal.

Is it Dame bullying them in this case by saying he only wants to play for the Heat and dropping his own trade value?

Yeah, Lillard is hurting the Blazers here which I hadn't expected.

Honestly would be surprised if he goes to the Heat. They really don't have a great package for Portland.

Lowry, Jovic, 5 first round picks with Herro and Nurkic going to San Antonio is pretty good for all sides. Lowry is an expiring contract that the Trailblazers can either keep as a mentor for Scoot or trade to a desperate contender at the trade deadline. Jovic is a fucking stud and will be great one day. Offensively could fit very well next to Scoot.

So if they can’t find a deal, does he just stay and have a whole city know he wants out?

I mean, yeah. He is still under contract, and they don't want him to go for free. This happened with Kevin Durant last offseason. He might just stay out and at the trade deadline have better luck finding a deal. I am sure neither side wants that, but it's a real possibility.

Edit : a word
