And all the other former reddit interfaces that port over here.

Reddit might keep 90% of the users, but Lemmy will gain 10% of the more tech literate

The quality of posts and comments I've seen on Lemmy so far is really high compared to Reddit. Really looking forward to the future of this platform

The dev should send a notification to sync users like they did when reddit killed the api. I found lemmy by accident and I know there's other that could use the hint

I think they had around 25k people signing up to be notified when the sync for lemmy app releases, so at least some of them are there :)

You and your app deserve the hype. Your app was Reddit on mobile for me and many others.

Totally agree with "Reddit might keep 90% of the users, but Lemmy will gain 10% of the more tech literate" I think the hurdle of getting into lemmy/fediverse is enough to keep a majority of MAGA/Trolls out of here.

[-] DV8@lemmy.world 15 points 1 year ago

If you think there's no MAGA folks that are tech literate, it's been too long since you visited /.

[-] Dempf@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Wait they are on / . these days? Yeah it's been forever since I visited that site.

/.

What site are you guys referring to?

One of the nice things with the whole federation thing is they can have their own instance/sandbox to play in and everyone else doesn't have to play with them unless they want to.
