Rules

We have a four strike system in this community where you get warned the first time you break a rule, then given a week ban, then given a year ban, then a permanent ban. Certain actions may bypass this and go straight to permanent ban if severe enough and done with malicious intent

@voklen @mac thank you, I really appreciate that! I wanted it to be fun and satisfying to simply move around as the character, that's always a big focus in the platformers I love. So I spent a good amount of time just focused on the player's movement and animation feel ☺️

I extended the player script that comes from @kenney 's 3D platformer starter kit. Highly recommend it as a template to build off of : https://github.com/KenneyNL/Starter-Kit-3D-Platformer

I usually just ask users on mastodon in dms whether theyre fine with me posting it here and then make a completely new post if they say yes. For the actual video I download it from mastodon then usually shrink it to around half width and height and optimize it a bit so its within the lemmy file size limit

For actual crossposts from mastodon only the original author can do that and by tagging the lemmy community
