I didn't see it as a right wing meme. I read it as her saying bullshit patriotic speech and trump being to dumb to understand her.

General memes. Political memes are very specific and often USA centric so not everyone can understand and/or really care about them let alone laugh reading them.
Fair enough… but… Hillary Clinton is more than a political meme. She’s more than a president. Maybe she is an idea, a world-historical heroine, light itself.

If Yoko Ono were still alive she'd write an song with an odious, racially-charged comparison between Hillary and black people and everyone around the world would come together every year on November 9th to listen to this song and to mourn our collective loss.

Never mind reality where she lost the primary HARD but the DNC just didn't give a fuck. It just doesn't fit the rights little pornworld.
She didn't lose the primary. More people supported and voted for her constantly from day one of the primary to the day it ended.
I caucused for Bernie but this reality denial shit is lame as fuck. Progressives need to be able to understand that in an ideologically diverse coalition, not everyone is going to agree with them, and that's the will of the voters, not corruption.

I've been disillusioned from the progressive movement largely because of the institutional inability in many of the prog organizations to deal with reality.
Lying and claiming I hate progressives is a good example of the kind of self defeating, toxic anti-intellectual verbal masturbation that drives me away. I'd rather deal with someone who I disagree with than an angry child like you who can't have a productive conversation with another human being.
