What's the proper way to create a link to a community?

You remove the instance's domain name from the URL, the same way you remove reddit.com
when linking to subreddits. You then append it at the end of the URL with an @
. For example, https://lemmy.ml/c/asklemmy
--> /c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml
EDIT: Starting with Lemmy 0.18.0, you won't need to do this manually anymore!
