Collapse

This is the place for discussing the potential collapse of modern civilization and the environment.

Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Hmmm... I suspect the paper is not well researched.

Pollinator limitation in apples??? Apples naturally only produce every other year. In order to get production every year you have to reduce the fruit load by 50%. Growers spend tons of money on chemical (hormones) or hand thinning of the fruit. Too much pollination in apples is the issue

I'll need access to the full paper to really analyze their methodology. If somebody could pirate it for me that would be great.
