Trump says he would appoint Elon Musk to head a new "government efficiency commission" that would be in charge of making massive budget cuts -- slashing social services and laying off huge numbers of federal workers.

What could possibly qualify Elon Musk to decide how the entire federal government will function?

Musk has never held a government position before in his life. He has never helped a family receive food assistance, made sure work safety standards are enforced, or carried out any of the other essential functions public employees do every single day.

Musk is supposed to be behind the success of corporations like SpaceX or Tesla. But he has never assembled, designed, tested or maintained a car or rocket in his life. If he never came into the office again, it wouldn’t matter, because the workers do all the work.

Elon Musk being given this kind of huge authority is only possible under the dictatorship of the billionaires, where the ultra rich get to decide everything about our lives. We want a democracy for the workers -- socialism!
