Why does everyone blame America for problems in the world? /s

~~OK, but if the rest of the world actually cared, then they would step in to provide the aid that the US has stopped, rather than taking the hypocritical route of blaming the US for ending its aid. What credit did the US get for providing the aid in the first place?~~

~~In fact the US has been providing economic aid to Pakistan every year since 1951.~~

Edit: I am an idiot and read Pakistan instead of Palestine. On topic below:

The US has provided billions of dollars in aid toPalestinee, primarily through USAID and UNRWA. This is absolutely the right thing to do when there is a humanitarian crisis, but my question in all such cases is what is the exit plan?

Yes we should help, but foreign aid should not be expected indefinitely, regardless of the source or the original reason for it. Haiti is well worth reading about, as more than a decade of foreign aid has done little to actually fix their problems, and has helped to entrench corruption in the government there. There has to be a way out, the foreign aid has to stop sometime.

And ultimately, I think it is massively hypocritical to cast blame on the US or any country for providing aid for a time and then eventually stopping that aid. If this is the result then why would any country ever help another, if they're just going to get flak for not providing that help forever?

It happens. Coincidentally, Pakistan wants to be India, and India wants to be Bharat. So, eventually you’ll be right, given enough time.

Edit: The Pakistan situation is also relevant. Source

*their own actions, terrorism, and intransigence for the past 70 years sacrificing generation after generation in the vain attempt to force, the destruction of Israel, and Jews from the land "from the river to the sea"

They need the aid money because their own money is either going into Abbas's pockets or to families of terrorists.

Republicans have sought to force concessions from Palestinians by threatening to withhold life-saving aid. Despite handing $3.8 billion to Israel annually, no concession is demanded from the occupation state despite its daily human rights abuses and practice of apartheid.

Right here at the end of the article they make it pretty clear that this source is bias and full of misinformation. If anyone believes that Israel is receiving money from the US no strings attached, I have a bridge to sell you. It's literally money that must be spent on US military companies.

If you're going to post BS articles, at least use a decent source.
