I hope this is a direction for a real cure. My wife is type 1 and it's crazy how much it seems like she's just a cash cow for pharmaceutical companies. Everything is expensive and her life is a subscription model.

It fascinates me how far we're progressing in medical science. Never expected to ever see news like cures for HIV, tumours, and diabetes in my lifetime.
