Wasn't Pete Rose a guy who got busted for being a dirty dirty cheat? I can see why Trump would like the guy.

He was banned for life for gambling. A few times, he bet on or against his own team.

He also had sex with a 15-year-old when he was in his 30s.

Yeah, Pete Rose was a real piece of shit. But the point here is he was posting about Pete Rose during the debate.

That’s true, but I also think it’s important to note that he was posting about a pedophile who was banned from the MLB for betting against his own team.

Do you have a source that says he bet against his team? I've read that he bet on his own team but always to win https://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/13114874/notebook-obtained-lines-shows-pete-rose-bet-baseball-player-1986 "The documents obtained by Outside the Lines, which reflect betting records from March through July 1986, show no evidence that Rose, who was a player-manager in 1986, bet against his team."

Oh for sure.

This tracks. Trump doesn’t think the rules apply to him, why should they apply to someone he likes (and who probably liked him)?

I think this is the first time I actually agree with him though.
