I once almost died when I was jump scared by a pet. Cats are the worse as they will come up behind you and rub against your leg. I ended up jumping back and my heart went from relaxed to 100 with full fight or flight.
Brings to mind when i had to house a drunken friend on my bathroom floor and apparently at one point my cat went to check in on them
