This will surely be one of the most watched clips over the weekend and into Tuesday. Can't wait for the meltdown from Trump and his nutjobs claiming election interference. 🍿🍿

Wow. I don't like SNL so I wasn't expecting much. But I did have a lot of smiles here.

Well done.

This was silly and cheesy. But it is such a relief to see a politician enjoying themselves rather than ranting.

I was literally just going to write that comment. SNL to get sued next! Fucking crybaby strongman Trump...

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 weeks ago

They made that joke on Weekend Update later in the show.

Had a customer call me and as we were speaking (she lives in Florida and is a registered Republican) but she said she voted for Harris, because she can't stand Trump. But she also said that Trump can't work a McDonald's because he a convicted felon. Same as a garbage collector. Any gives me hope.

He already sued because of it.

The last time SNL was this sure of a candidate win, Hillary lost to Trump. I wish they'd push the message of Vote, more than the charming cult of personality.

I fucking hate how right I was.

I think they chose to focus more on the human warmth and positive vibes, and, dare I say, normalcy, to contrast with Trump's themes of hate and inhumanity that his campaign even seems to be ratcheting up in these final days.

The skit doesn't make it appear that anyone is ahead. It just makes it clear that SNL and their crew is supportive of Kamala.

[–] Hylactor@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 weeks ago

If anything it telegraphs uncertainty with the PA joke.

Every candidate was in the skit. What are you talking about?
