For those who didn't know: This is Robert Plant, the vocalist of Led Zeppelin. A dove spontaneously landed on his hand during a concert. They (the doves, not the band) were released from cages at the end if Stairway to Heaven, and one of them decided to land instead of flying off.

Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.
I will introduce more rules later and when I finish doing that I will make an announcement post about that.
For overall temporary guide check out the rules here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hmmm/wiki/rules/
I won't be moving all of them here but I will keep most of them.
Tangent, but where are they expected to go?
to heaven
Via some sort of implement that helps such an ascent. Like a ladder. Or maybe an escalator. Those were the only ones I could think of.
Tractor beam, chairlift, Scottie from Star Trek, ramp, hoist and pulley, that's probably it.
Derp, we both missed the obvious one. How stupid of us: Elevator
Pneumatic tube?
Where were you
They're trained to return to their home roost. It's just a flock of white homing pigeons.
Robert Plant with a dove
Alice Cooper with a chicken (that was then thrashed apart by the audience)
And Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off of a bat
Any other notable instances of rockers with live airborne animals on stage?
Ozzy thought it was a toy. Went to the hospital and got a rabies shot after the show.

In June 1973, Led Zeppelin played a legendary concert at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, where an unforgettable moment took place. As the band performed before over 50,000 fans, white doves were released during the closing of “Stairway to Heaven.” While most of the birds flew off into the crowd, one returned to the stage, landing unexpectedly on Robert Plant’s hand. The scene was striking: Plant, cigarette and drink in hand, calmly held the dove in the other, creating a serene image that contrasted with the band’s electric performance. -source
