57+% in favor of overturning it and it stays. Tyrant of the minority.

needed 60% to pass what BS.

Good news is I bet that 3% won't exist in the next vote.

Problem is people keep moving there even when some die. Florida is a lost cause, we need to build a wall and just let it fall into the ocean.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Can we call the wall “America’s cock ring”….

And make them pay for it?

[–] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Send bill to Mar-A-Wallgo

It needs a back flow valve so the sewage doesn't come back up.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 2 points 1 week ago

That's a good point. Wouldn't even bother with a wall. Aqua man needs to commute too.

And yet, 56% voted to put Trump back in the white house. The guy who made such restrictive abortion laws possible in the first place. I just don't understand people.

Florida election is sus as hell. They had 95% reported by 8pm. Makes no sense.

Nah this shit hole has been making a hard right turn for a while.

When I voted today we put our ballots directly into electronic counters I can't imagine why it would take long

[–] PriorityMotif@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

We do the same thing in Illinois and it still takes time for counties to report their results plus there's mail in and provisional ballots.
