Very cool, cant believe i havent seen that before despite being from Germany. Do you know if the "roof" is open to the public?

Hundertwasser buildings aren’t open to the public. People live in these houses and already get bothered by tourists all the time.

You can visit the one in Magdeburg, it has a hotel inside and has guided tours.

Fun fact: Das Bild ist höchstgradig illegal, da der Architekt bzw seine Erbin fleißig gegen Abbildungen seiner Häuser vorgeht und Luftaufnahmen nicht unter die Panoramafreiheit fallen. Das Rumfliegen mit Drohnen in bewohnten Gebieten und das Fotografieren von Privatwohnungen per Drohne ist dann nochmal gesondert illegal.

This is a really cool concept but holy shit what an eyesore! Why'd they make it look like that?

Hundertwasser wasn't an architect, but an artist, and that was kinda his style. Not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but it also wasn't trying to be.
