Yeah. The opening minute had me hooked. Once they started showing that he was going on a mission, I turned off. Stop giving me an abridged version of the film!

Yeah. I haven't been watching trailers for a while but I clicked this out of curiosity and I like Rami Malek too. Didn't expect the whole movie.

It feels like marketing departments are treating us like idiots. They show the best bits so we can run along and see how they connect with the rest of the film we haven't seen, probably the talkie bits as they've already shown all the action.

The Amateur is an upcoming American espionage thriller film directed by James Hawes and written by Ken Nolan and Gary Spinelli, based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell, which was previously adapted into a film that year. It stars Rami Malek, Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez, Danny Sapani, and Laurence Fishburne.
