and it's not on my subscribed communities. I'm not banned because I still be able go to the community. But can't post or subscribe. I can go to other kbin.social communities.

EDIT I can't find it. When I search for "PC Gaming".

EDIT 2 I tried sh.itjust.works. It shows up in search and you can go to it. But all of the posts are from kbin.social users. You don't see non-kbin.social users posts. So what's going on?

Hey everyone. We were still deciding what to do with the kbin.social problem.

While we want to stop the spam - we don't want to let down our community members that visit us from kbin.

Announcement here: https://lemmy.world/post/5289864

Same problem here. Did kbin.social get deferederated from lemmy.world?

This is true for more Kbin communities. There comes many spam from this community and also many reports from lemmy.world users. That's why we did choose to remove this community from LW.

An announcement at c/lemmyworld would been nice.

Do you not have sufficient moderation? Strikes me as a bit of a dick move, especially with no notice, given that it's one of the larger communities I subscribed to.

The dick move is when you call out people that are doing something for you for free. Everything you see here is provided to you by volunteers who have to think about what's best for everyone in the community. And sometimes that means taking unpopular decisions. Thanks!

~~You don't think it runs antithetical to the entire foundational concept of a federation? I'm sorry that (apparently?) some unwanted attention was given, but you can't deny it really stinks of taking your ball and going home.~~

Edit: I thought it was kbin that did the defederating.
