That's OK, if Intel can reasonably compete on energy efficiency, speed and yields, it's all good.
TSMC has very steep profits on these bleeding edge processes, so even if Intel has to sell it slightly cheaper to gain customers, they can still make a healthy profit.

Isn't the US giving tsmc billions to setup in America? As a safeguard against Chinese occupation.
