I've tried jerboa, thunder, wefwef, connect and liftoff. I was having some problems, but they may have been more related to the instance I was on.

In the last couple days, I've been mostly gravitating to wefwef and liftoff. I'd say wefwef is my favorite, but how it handles the back gesture on android is annoying.

Do you think Android will one day become so restrictive that sideloading (installing apps outside of Playstore) will become extremely limited, or completely banned? in c/android@lemmy.world

I manually changed my last 50 or so comments to tell people to go to lemmy

I still wish they hadn't dropped sms on android. A few family members dropped signal as soon as they needed another app for messaging.
