No, that’s the dominant narrative in the US, but the data, even the US government then-contemporary data, doesn’t support that narrative in the slightest.

If it’s acting like reservations, Palestinians won’t have the right to prosecute Israelis who commit crime on Palestinian land for 100+ years, allowing rampant violence against the colonized people :/

We’ve been paying for at least half of that Pueblo to Fort Collins route for about 20 years now… expected to be done in 2074 last I heard. The railroad is a real fuckhead, but also, the project has been mismanaged for sure. Hopefully this kick starts some action.

We continue to isolate ourselves from global society…

I laugh at this every time I see it, but I also like to point out that Rage was, in fact, extremely explicit about what machine they were raging against.

It was, for quite some time, actually.

So, why is Israel not sanctioned to hell for their illegal Nuclear weapons program which they don’t allow international inspectors to observe and refuse to publicly state how many they have? It seems that there are two international Justice systems. One for those whom serve the interests of the west, and one for those who don’t.

Tell me you don’t understand propaganda without telling me you don’t understand propaganda. Maybe read Edward Bernays book Propaganda, or Chomsky’s Manufacturing Consent, or Parenti’s Inventing Reality. The propaganda model has been extensively analyzed and there is no doubt in anyone who has done the research that the U.S. and its media apparatuses are the single largest producer of propaganda in the entire world.

The amount the company I work for did in stock buybacks last year, were that wealth instead taxed or returned to the people, would have been able to:

Build 10,000,000 sqft of high schools, or, around 88 $45,000,000 high schools.

Or

Could have provided ~6.3 million women with young children or infants with supplemental health and nutrition through the WIC program for 8.5 months

Or

80 $50 million mental health facilities

Or

According to Dept of HUD, would have been 20% of the total needed to eradicate homelessness entirely from the country

Or

Fed 363,636 families of 4, for a total of 1.45 million people, for an entire year.

Or

Put solar panels on 250,000 homes.

My company did an entire BILLION less in buybacks. Adding up the top 5 companies I could find data for, we get the following: ~$56billion buybacks, which could have instead been used to:

Build 140,000,000 sqft of high schools, or, around 1200 $45,000,000 high schools.

Or

Could have provided ~6.3 million women with young children or infants with supplemental health and nutrition through the WIC program for 9.91 YEARS.

Or

1120 $50 million mental health facilities

Or

According to Dept of HUD, would have been 280% of the total needed to eradicate homelessness entirely from the country,

Or

Fed 5,090,904 families of 4, for a total of 71.2 million people, or 20% of the entire population of the country for an entire year.

Or

Put solar panels on 3.5 million homes.

People always talk about the oppression as ancient history, but it has been perpetual for many groups, not just limited to indigenous. Allotment ran until 1934, giving away native lands. After that they moved to Termination, where they tried to dissolve reservations and negate treaties.
