Watched this all the time on Treehouse TV as a kid. Apparently it was originally on TVO? Crazy how I remember it so much despite it only having a single season apparently.

Figured I'd try promoting the community here. It's only been around a few days, but I would love to make this community an active and thriving one.

Look, if he just left it at saying that the protests were fine but the encampment was not, that would at least be understandable.

COMPARING IT TO THE FREEDOM CONVOY? BRUH

Genuinely surprised Smith is that low. Like, if it took into account how people nationally felt about Smith I'd see this as expected, but the Angus Reid poll referenced seems to be based on the approval ratings of the premiers by their constituents.

I swear not long back Smith had a 60% approval rating here, which is absurd to think about as expected as it is. Wonder if the podcast surfacing pissed people off.

If you can manage to thicken it so that it stays in place, I see no issue. Just with peanut butter and mayonnaise, it's really easy to spread it over the adhesive without it spreading to where you don't need it and it staying in place.

Maybe a paper towel might work, but I'd still worry about preventing it from spreading elsewhere instead of staying place personally.

I've used this trick to get old price stickers off my VHS cases (plastic ones, not cardboard), and to remove branded stickers off glass spice jars I want to reuse and relabel. Always works like a charm after letting it sit for a while.

God, why do they feel entitled to our marketplace? Jesus Christ can they just fuck off?

Is that the case? I've been hearing a lot about how unreliable the F-35s have been with it being hard to even get them off the ground half the time due to the maintenance needed on them.

I fucking love this guy, the more I hear about him, the more I want to throw my vote for the Greens.

As much as I wish they would ditch May and make him the sole leader of the party, I might concede my gripes and vote for them anyway since he's just so fucking talented as a person and party leader.

Look up this guy's portfolio, he walks the walk.

So the other day I was in a conversation talking about the MP for my former riding, Greg McLean. I by no means am a Conservative voter, but of the Conservative MPs I can give respect to, Greg McLean is towards the top of the list considering the social issues he's worked on, and his engagement with the community.

I was checking out his website and shockingly found that he has a BlueSky has one of his social platforms. Not only that, but he also uses it regularly, posting multiple times per day. Now this could just be his publicity team rather than him directly, but it still caught me off guard in a positive way that it was a platform he utilized.

It had me thinking. What other MPs use BlueSky and/or Mastodon? I feel having a list would be a useful resource especially in asking other members of parliament by legitimizing the idea of providing a method of following them on social media without using X or Facebook.

Why why WHY must Charlie Angus be stepping out of politics? I like Singh as a person, but he lacks proper leadership skills that the NDP desperately needs right now.

I have seen Angus' name in the media equally, if not more than Singh, and that's incredibly impressive given that Singh HAS to be covered by the media as a party leader. Angus doesn't. The petitions he's put out about Tesla, Elon Musk, and how Canada should respond to tariffs, on top of his GREAT speech denouncing the U.S. government is EXACTLY what we need right now.

If Singh dropped as NDP leader and Charlie Angus took his place, I would vote for the NDP without so much as flinching and do whatever I could in my heavily Conservative district to get whoever the NDP candidate is in parliament. This man is incredible and it's a damn shame he's not party leader.

Are you even Canadian? That's a pretty dense comment to make.

Indigenous people are much more susceptible to homelessness and addictions due to generational trauma that the government has inflicted on them and their communities through residential schools and the Sixties Scoop.

So yeah, sorry for being racist by... reads notes... acknowledging issues that negatively affect other races.

Fucking good. Trudeau made a campaign promise not to go through with purchasing those F-35 planes to begin with and went ahead with it anyway. The deal should have been off the table to begin with, especially with the shit build quality these things have for the insane price point they have.

All that money could be put towards lifting up our fellow Canadians in homelessness and addictions treatment, especially those who are indigenous.

The comments were deplorable, good thing he's stepping out of the race.

I do have to wonder though, is this out of actual remorse, or because of back door conversations with the Liberal party to ensure they don't risk losing a seat?
